番茄影视 Public Schools Summer Programming

High School students

  • Summer online classes through Edgenuity at Options High School: Students in 番茄影视 Public Schools who will be in grades 9-12 in fall 2023 may take free online courses for summer school using the Edgenuity platform for credit retrieval or credit ahead.聽Please note: students entering ninth grade are limited to Computer Applications (Tech Literacy) and Health for credit ahead.
Summer school courses are accelerated; students complete an 18-week class in a compressed 6-week time frame. For this reason, although the coursework is completed online, students need to attend in person at Options High School Monday through Thursday from June 26 to August 3, 2023 (no school Tuesday, July 4). This ensures they have quick access to academic and/or technical help. (Please note: our May 8 email stated this program ends July 27, not the correct date of Aug. 3. Our apologies for any inconvenience.)
For more information about high school summer school through Edgenuity, please see the summer 2023 registration form.聽If you have聽additional聽questions, please contact your high school counselor or secondary summer school principal Meghan Dunham via email or at 360-676-6400.
  • Summer session at the Northwest Career & Technical Academy (NCTA) offers free in-person exploration of career fields for students entering high school in fall through non-graduated seniors. Students can earn .5 high school credits while learning about careers such as aerospace manufacturing, construction, applied medical sciences, fire science, criminal justice, videogame development, investment and finance, and more. These in-person classes run from June 20 to July 11 (no school July 3 or 4) at NCTA鈥檚 Mount Vernon, Anacortes or Sedro-Woolley campuses, and at Meridian High School. 番茄影视 Public Schools provides transportation to the Mount Vernon campus.
