The High School and Beyond Plan, a graduation requirement, helps students get the most out of high school and think about their future. Students work with school counselors and advisors to create their own individual plan, the 鈥減ersonal pathway鈥, throughout high school and revise their plan annually to accommodate changing interests or postsecondary goals on what they expect to do the year following graduation from high school.听
The High School and Beyond Plan is divided into three modules 鈥 Career Planner, Four Year Plans, and Future Ready Skills. Students work on different activities at different grade levels, and by the time they graduate they will have created a comprehensive academic portfolio. Starting this year, we are using Xello as our High School and Beyond Plan platform.

Seniors, if you are working on college applications and the college you are applying to uses the Common App you will need to connect your Common App with Xello. Common App is a听free听online tool that allows you to听apply to many colleges听using just one main application. Xello and Common App have听teamed up to make the college application process easier for you! Guidelines
The High School and Beyond Plan (HSB) process is a graduation requirement that supports students in exploring their interests, planning high school coursework that is aligned to those interests, keeping track of major assessment scores, and logging work and other relevant experience. Washington students must听complete an HSB plan to achieve a high school diploma.
